My work usually consists of metal wire, sometimes in combination with other materials. Bending, wrapping, turning, hooking and hammering the wire creates volumes and spatial shapes that are transparent and translucent. At the same time, they delineate the space. They take up space while at the same time making space visible. Space gets meaning. It can be an opening, a pause, or a place to be.

“Sometimes space is the best structure you can erect. (………)Everything happens there because nothing is prescribed; these are timeless and promising places.”
